Eisenhower, kanban, and timeline views in Obsidian

The same Markdown tasks can be scanned as a list, grouped on a board, laid out on a timeline, or opened in the Eisenhower view. Day, week, and month are calendar scales. Schedule is a separate date entry. Those are the views the Calendar Pro and LifeOS Pro docs already name. This page does not add swimlanes, milestones, or resource load.

How that differs from Full Calendar Remastered is in the comparison. That plugin’s wider surface is event sources. This one is the task pool plus the views below.

What each view is for

The task view doc says list, timeline, and kanban are three presentations of one workspace. The active one is highlighted.

ViewDocumented use
ListSearch, sort, and complete tasks one by one
KanbanGroup by status, due date, priority, or tag
TimelineSee when work sits, and set start and end
ScheduleA separate entry for arrangements by date
Day / week / monthPlan time on the calendar
EisenhowerThe homepage and the Calendar Pro comparison call it a separate entry for important versus urgent

Filters follow the calendar’s global filter. Checking a task rewrites - [ ] to - [x]. Remote events are another layer. Setup is in iCloud and Google CalDAV.

License

Calendar Pro is the license when you want these views and remote calendars without the periodic-note system. LifeOS Pro already includes calendar planning. Prices and the split are in Free vs Pro. Checked 2026-10-14: Calendar Pro ¥109 / $29.90, LifeOS Pro ¥179 / $49.90, 5 devices each.

A weekly review that reads these notes is in weekly review. This page does not state a completion rate.
